| If theres one situation you
want to be in at a poker table its sitting there with a bunch of weak players. You
know that your superior knowledge of the game should provide you with easy money. All you
have to do is take it from the suckers, right? Thats the way its supposed to
happen anyway, but it doesnt always go down that way. Even against the worst
players, luck will play a part in how things transpire. And if you dont take some
time to play these players properly, you can end up out of the game before most of the
fish. Playing weak players should be done with
simplicity. You need to understand that weak players dont have a good understanding
of the game, and they wont fall for fancy tricks that youll try to employ. If
they dont know the dangers of a particular situation, they wont be afraid when
you represent a hand. Theyll often call without having a clue what theyre
doing, and your bluff will backfire on you. So when youre playing weak players you
should only bluff the players who are obviously easily forced off a hand.
Youll get your best results by waiting for good hands
and betting your hand for value. Most weak players will call bets that are much too big
for the situation if they decide theyre going to play the hand. When you have
something good bet it out, and if you think youll get action you should over-bet the
hand. Weak players dont think about the size of the bet they have to call, only if
they should call or not. |
